How To Deal With Anxiety During The Pandemic



During the last two years, mainly during the quarantines, the number of people suffering from some mental disorder has increased a lot. Mainly anxiety and then insomnia and depression, according to the statistics. Knowing this, I have put together a set of small tips that you can take if you experience anxiety or another type of mental disturbance. But remember: you can always consult a specialist doctor if you need.


-Take deep breaths. Inhale and exhale slowly;

-Count to 10 slowly. Repeat, and count to 20 if necessary;

-Talk to someone. Tell friends and family you’re feeling overwhelmed, and let them know how they can help you. Talk to a physician or therapist for professional help;

-Get enough sleep. When stressed, your body needs additional sleep and rest;

-Accept that you cannot control everything. Put your stress in perspective: Is it really as bad as you think? (This one is very important to me and helps me a lot);

-Eat well-balanced meals. Do not skip any meals. Do keep healthful, energy-boosting snacks on hand.
