The Butterfly Effect was discovered by Edward Lorenz, when he was investigating the chaos theory.
This effect in known to be a sensitive dependence on initial conditions in which a small change in one state of “deterministicnonlinear system” can result in large differences in later state. We can see an easier example like if a butterfly flat its wings, it moves a small amount of air. That small amount of movement can cause more movement that grows into a larger amount of movement that can cause a hurricane on the other side of the world. This can be seen on actions too, one small action can create a series of actions that can change the world.
Why a Butterfly?
The idea of a butterfly came from the study that Lorenz crated. The equation ins his study’s looked very alike with a butterfly and because of the butterfly metaphor this effect was named “Butterfly Effect”.
After reading this short explanation you should be able do notice some butterfly effects in your daly bases. Like, does ever a bad thing in the beginning of your day effects your whole mood for the rest of the day??
